Educator
The study of acting is to me, a personal journey of discovery. I believe the more we understand about ourselves, the more we can understand the characters we portray.
In my teaching I concentrate on breath, spine and impulse and creation through games, physical training, movement, mask, text work, improvisation and creative writing. This includes a personal investigation into physicality, habits and emotional availability - not to change anything, but to become aware.
I strive to create a safe and challenging environment for my students so that they can be unabashedly curious and free to explore within themselves and the world around them.
I have experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds and a sense of diversity and inclusion is paramount for me in the classroom and the world.
I am currently in the midst of Alexander Technique Teacher Training Certification with Joe Krienke of Soma Studios as well as completing Intimacy Design Training with T.I.E.
