Director
As a Director my focus is on non traditional theatre configuration, site specific work, music and movement as storyteller, transitions, reinventing our relationship with the audience - be that through intimate staging or community engagement, and a deep passion for feminist themes.
I incorporate my physical theatre background into everything I do via storytelling without text, the level of mask of character - both through the physical mask (larval, neutral, character, Commedia and clown), and metaphoric mask, and high octane physicality.
In my Movement Direction and Intimacy Design, I incorporate my training with Theatrical Intimancy Education (T.I.E) to foster a consent based physical practice. I work in collaboration with directors and actors to create a working physical vocabulary from which to create authentic, embodied movement.
